Product Introduction
The 8-series air compressor features an entirely new design, offering a more compact structure with a 15% reduction in overall size; It is equipped with Atlas Copco’s next-generation compressor element, reducing oil consumption by 12%, and features an external oil filter that allows maintenance to be completed in under one hour; The machine’s maintenance interval has been extended to once every two years, reducing maintenance frequency and lowering associated costs.
Incorporating a safety helmet design that is not only visually appealing and recipient of the European Red Dot Design Award but also offers enhanced robustness and durability, increasing the residual value of used machines by 10%. Together, these improvements increase the customer’s asset return by 10%, significantly boosting sustainable productivity.

Atlas Copco 8 series packages are always happy to hit the road. Our towable road compressors deliver up to 5 m³/min of compressed air, in packages that are always below 750kg, incl all options. These efficient compressors offer a low fuel consumption, reduced service time and robustness in all weather conditions. Its legendary HardHat canopy is the toughest compressor housing we’ve ever built.
Our utility compressors offer flows up to 7 m³/min, the same excellent efficiency and can be easily integrated on a truck. Single-side service allows for ease of use and easy serviceability.

For all power requirements up to 400V, no separate generator is necessary. The diesel-driven 8-Series compressor offers an optional integrated generator. An integrated power source protected by a safety helmet, delivering up to 5.3 m³/min of compressed air and 400 V of electrical power.

Construction site reliability
We’ve been running the XAS88 on our roadworks crew for six months. The 5.3 m³/min airflow handles two breakers simultaneously without pressure drop. The fuel efficiency surprised us – a full tank lasts a full shift. The canopy design keeps maintenance simple, and the auto-start/stop saves wear. Genuinely the most dependable compressor we’ve owned.
