The Atlas Copco U 130 mobile air compressor is a compact, skid-mounted diesel screw compressor built for field service, construction, utility maintenance and on-site pneumatic work.
The Atlas Copco U 130 mobile air compressor is a compact, skid-mounted diesel screw compressor built for field service, construction, utility maintenance and on-site pneumatic work. Part of the trusted U series utility compressor lineup, this unit balances lightweight design, stable air delivery and low operating costs, making it an ideal compressed-air powerhouse for truck-mounted mobile applications.

Built around a reliable Kubota V1505 liquid-cooled 4-cylinder diesel engine, the U 130 delivers a steady free air delivery of 3.7 m³/min (130 cfm) at a standard working pressure of 7 bar. It adopts a single-stage oil-injected compressor design paired with a centrifugal air-oil separation system, which limits residual oil content in compressed air to just 5 mg/m³, meeting general workshop and construction air quality requirements.
Three G 3/4 air outlet ports are fitted as standard, allowing operators to run multiple pneumatic tools simultaneously, including jackhammers, grinders, blowguns and tire inflation equipment. The cooling system combines a dedicated engine coolant radiator and compressor oil cooler, supporting stable operation at ambient temperatures up to 50 °C at sea level. With optional cold-weather kits, the U 130 can reliably start at temperatures as low as -20 °C, adapting to seasonal working conditions across many regions.

One of the standout advantages of the U 130 is its ultra-light and space-saving build. The fully wet operating weight stays under 750 kg, so it can be safely fitted onto most standard service trucks without overloading. Its compact footprint also supports three-layer stacking for transport and storage, cutting logistics and warehousing expenses.
The whole machine is protected by a three-layer coating system: Zincor treatment, primer and powder coating, delivering strong resistance against rust, scratches and harsh outdoor weather, whether you work in dusty construction zones or humid roadside environments.
Noise control is carefully engineered into this model. The heavy-duty sound-dampened steel canopy keeps the sound pressure level down to 73 dB(A) (ISO 2151), letting the compressor operate smoothly in noise-restricted urban job sites without disrupting surrounding areas.
This quiet operation makes it perfect for road repair, municipal maintenance and indoor renovation support where strict local noise regulations apply.
Serviceability is a key design priority for the U 130. All core service points are arranged on a single side of the unit via wide, easy-open access doors. It features a 1500-hour service interval, which greatly reduces maintenance frequency. Routine consumable replacement can be finished within one hour, minimizing downtime for your fleet.
The unit is equipped with a 62-litre standard fuel tank for long shift runs. An extended 23-litre auxiliary tank is available as an upgrade for remote sites without convenient refuelling access.

The control panel is neatly integrated on the canopy side, equipped with an ignition switch, pressure gauge, fuel gauge, running hour meter, temperature and warning indicators. Built-in safety protections automatically trigger shutdown for critical faults such as high coolant temperature, low engine oil pressure, excessive air outlet temperature and low fuel level, protecting the engine and compressor element from permanent damage.
It uses a 12V negative-ground electrical system to provide stable starting and continuous performance monitoring.
For teams looking to maximise truck deck space, an integrated generator option is available. This combined air-and-power solution eliminates the need to carry a separate generator on the service truck. You get both compressed air and electric power from one compact unit, ideal for remote field service, emergency repair and off-grid worksites.
All U-series compressors are manufactured to ISO 9001 quality and ISO 14001 environmental standards. Complete test certificates, vessel certification, operation manuals and spare parts lists are supplied with every unit.

Whether you manage a fleet of service trucks, run road maintenance crews or support on-site construction projects, the Atlas Copco U 130 mobile air compressor offers consistent output, simple upkeep and proven Atlas Copco build quality. It is a practical, low-total-cost-of-ownership compressed air solution designed to keep your field operations moving reliably every day.

It is a well-thought-out mobile air solution.
We fitted the Atlas Copco U130 onto our service trucks for municipal repair jobs, and its lightweight skid design is a huge win. At under 750 kg, it does not overload our vehicles. The 73 dB(A) low-noise enclosure lets us work on urban streets without noise complaints. Air delivery stays steady even with multiple pneumatic tools running together. Service doors are easy to access, and the long 1500-hour service interval cuts our maintenance workload a lot.

Highly recommended for off-grid work crews.
This Atlas Copco U130 compressor has performed flawlessly on our remote field service jobs. It handles high ambient heat up to 50°C reliably, and the cold-start kit works perfectly for winter operations. We selected the optional integrated generator version, so we get both compressed air and power from one compact unit. Safety cutouts give us peace of mind on unattended runs. Fuel efficiency is impressive, and the build quality matches the trusted Atlas Copco standard.
